Logistics
Logistics

In tandem with our production capabilities, we are well-healed as logistical producers. Much of what we do as a production company involves intensive logistical planning, over many months and sometimes years.

Examples of Logistical Management:
C.R. Bard

In February of 2007 -- C.R.Bard held a Global Sales and Marketing meeting in Orlando, FL with over 2000 attendees from all over the world. Over a six day period, IEP produced a total of 580 individual meetings, all with AV and other support requirements. This Global Sales Meeting took-over two entire hotels and a large portion of the Orange County Convention Center. In addition to the corporate general sessions for all 2000 attendees, there were 11 additional general session rooms, each with full production, staging and AV that were conducted concurrently. IEP provided the AV for all sessions, staging, translation services in six languages, headline talent/entertainment and extensive video production on-site.

Magic Johnson Foundation

IEP produced 7 major productions for the Magic Johnson Foundation in Los Angeles over a 6 day period. These locations included the Century Plaza Hotel, the Staples Center, LA Center Studios, The Kodak Theater, the LAX Hyatt, the Playboy Mansion and Magic Johnson’s home. Each event challenged us with production, transportation, labor and creative issues that were successfully managed. Talent and entertainment for these events included John Legend, Brian McKnight, Chaka Khan, Ludacris, Eddie Murphy, Steve Harvey, Will Smith, Quincy Jones, among many other celebrities.

BearingPoint

For BearingPoint’s 2007 Global Managing Director's meeting, 1000 MD’s from all over the World gathered for the introduction of BearingPoint's new corporate branding. IEP had three major logistical challenges throughout this brand launch. First was in the General Session room. Overnight, we had to turn over the space from the prior client into an "intimate" space for 1000 attendees -- utilizing stadium seating. The second challenge was in the amount of video production needed on-site to support the meeting. We filmed executives 1,500 miles away, then shipped the film overnight to be edited on-site, with full branding -- in time for the opening General Session. We also produced another 7 videos, during this conference. Finally, we supported production of the brand launch to BearingPoint's employee base in another 5 US cities coast to coast over the next four weeks.
